A lost wax cast bronze sculpture, mounted on custom designed solid walnut base. Original Limited Edition of 8 were cast from the mold; there is one available.
This piece was created originally for the National Ability Center of Park City, Utah, commemorating the first horse that started their hugely successfully and internationally recognize Horsemanship Therapy Program. Buck was 35 when I visited and sketched him, in preparation for creating him in clay. He ran and bucked in the arena like a young stallion, then was docile as a puppy with a needy two year old on his back. Horses are amazing, tender and insightful animals. I will never forget him.
This piece is 15.5"H x 18.5"L by 6"W at the walnut base.
